  'House of Horrors' dad gets 8 perjury charges added David Turpin, the Southern California father accused of torturing his 13 children, faces eight new charges, all alleging perjury, authorities said. The eight felony counts are in connection with annual paperwork Turpin filed between 2010 and 2017 with the California Department of Education, in which he stated that his children were being educated full-time at a private day school, the Riverside County district attorney's office said Friday.

Pilot Andy Hill has pleaded not guilty to 11 charges of manslaughter after the Shoreham Air Show crash in 2015.

Hill, 54, from Sandon, Hertfordshire was putting on an aerobatics display when his Hawker Hunter jet came down on the A27 in West Sussex, killing 11 men.

He is due to face trial at The Old Bailey on January 14 next year on charges of manslaughter by gross negligence and one charge of negligently endangering an aircraft.

Hill suffered serious injuries after he was thrown clear of the plane when it crashed on the dual carriageway on August 22, 2015.

Amongst those who died were two Worthing United footballers, Matthew Grimstone, 23, and Jacob Schilt, also 23, who were both travelling to a match.
