  Salisbury nerve agent was 'delivered in liquid form', Department for Environment reveals <p>The nerve agent used to poison Sergei and Yulia Skripal in Salisbury was delivered "in a liquid form", it has been revealed.</p>The Department for Environment said one primary location was targeted - the Skripal's Wiltshire home.

DEADLY LIQUID . The Department for Environment confirmed "a very small amount" of military grade Novichok was discovered following the March 4 Salisbury attack. Skripal, 66, and 33-year-old Yulia, were poisoned the nerve agent after it was smeared on the front door of their Wiltshire home.

The details emerged as the department announced a major clean-up operation was under way across the city "to bring a small number of potentially contaminated sites back into safe use" for residents and tourists.

The 66-year-old former Russian double agent and his 33-year-old daughter were attacked with novichok and were found collapsed on a bench at The Maltings shopping centre on 4 March.
