  Grenfell Tower Management Company's Chief Executive Robert Black Steps Down The chief of Kensington & Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation has stepped aside following the Grenfell Tower blaze. Robert Black quit the organisation, which manages the tower where at least 80 people lost their lives in the fire on June 14, so he can “concentrate on assisting with the investigation and inquiry”, the group said in a statement on Friday.

A Coastguard helicopter airlifted the victim from the north-east face of the UK's highest peak.

A CLIMBER has tragically died after falling on Tower Ridge on Ben Nevis , the UK's highest mountain. Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team said the man, named as Anthony Parmenter, suffered fatal injuries in the incident yesterday morning.

A climber has died after falling on Ben Nevis.

Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team said the man suffered fatal injuries when he fell while scaling the mountain's Tower Ridge on Saturday morning.

A helicopter airlifted the victim from a "difficult location".

A Lochaber Mountain Rescue spokesman said: "We are sad to report that a call out yesterday was to a climber who suffered fatal injuries while climbing Tower Ridge.

"Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and friends.

"A big thank you to R951 who did a fantastic job to make the recovery from a very difficult location and all the climbers who assisted and brought down the climber's friend. A sad day."

Tower Ridge is one of several ridges on the north-east face of the UK's highest peak.

Woman charged over fatal stabbing of three-year-old in Dublin .
Gardaí said that a woman in her early 40s had been charged in relation to the incident. It is understood that the woman is being charged with the child’s murder.The three-year-old boy died after being found with apparent stab wounds at the Riverside apartment complex in Poddle Park, Kimmage at about 7pm on Monday evening.The woman was arrested yesterday in relation to the incident. She is due before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.
