Storm Eleanor is currently bringing high winds and heavy rain to the capital.

Trees have been knocked and some roads flooded such is the strength of the storm.

Dublin Airport is also feeling the affects of the storm with very high winds recorded at the international airport.

Here's everything you need to know on flights in and out of the airport.

Are any flights cancelled?

Dublin Airport have warned that there could be a few cancellations and delays due to the winds.

A spokesperson said: "Some flight delays Dublin Airport due to Storm Eleanor passengers advised to check with their airline for latest flight updates."

Dublin itself is not the worst affected by the storm so most flights are expected to head away as scheduled this morning.

How long will the storm last?

Eleanor will be sticking around for most of the day with plenty of strong gusts and high winds.

A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Storm Eleanor will continue to bring very windy conditions for a time today, with fresh to strong and gusty westerly winds.

"Some blustery downpours occurring too, with surface flooding possible. Showers will become isolated later in the day and winds will moderate for a time then too.

"Highest temperatures of 8 or 9 degrees Celsius."
