Juventus to sell Higuain and Dybala to fund Ronaldo move

Juventus to sell Higuain and Dybala to fund Ronaldo move Juventus have reportedly decided to cash in on both Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala in a bid to raise funds to sign Cristiano Ronaldo. Tancredi Palmeri claims that the Old Lady will sell both players this summer to raise funds for Ronaldo, who continues to be linked with a €100 million move to Turin. Higuain has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea, with some reports going as far as suggesting a €60 million fee has been agreed between both clubs. The former Real Madrid striker is due to turn 31 in December and Juventus may feel they may never get a better chance to cash in on the player. However, more surprisingly, Dybala is also being linked with a summer exit. Dybala has been considered as the future of the club for some time and is seen as someone who can be the next Alessandro Del Piero figure in Turin.

Liverpool are not interested in a big-money move to sign Paulo Dybala from Juventus this summer, according to reports.

The Liverpool Echo claims that the Reds are not preparing a club-record £80 million bid for the player, despite some suggestions from Italy.

Reports claimed that the Old Lady could sell the Argentinian international in a bid to raise funds to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.

The latter is being heavily tipped to join the Turin outfit this summer, which has cast doubts over Dybala’s future at the club.

Fellow Juventus forward Gonzalo Higuain is also seeing his future questioned, amid reports he could be sold to Chelsea to help fund the Ronaldo move.

Liverpool ask about Paulo Dybala

Liverpool ask about Paulo Dybala Liverpool have reportedly asked about Juventus star Paulo Dybala, amid rumours of a Juve switch for Cristiano Ronaldo. Rumour has been rampant since yesterday, claiming that the Serie A champions are closing in on an £88million deal for Real Madrid star Ronaldo. While that deal edges closer to completion, reportedly, the Reds have enquired about Dybala, who fears that his position could be in doubt in Turin. That is according to FootballItalia, citing Tuttomercatoweb, who state that at this stage it is just a question being asked. While a deal does seem unlikely, with Dybala considered one of the biggest talents in world football, the Argentinian hasn’t had a stellar year, at least not by his standards. Despite scoring 22 goals in 33 Serie A appearances last season, Dybala struggled for minutes at this summer’s World Cup, only playing a part as a substitute. Still, if Liverpool could pull off a deal for the 24-year old, it would cement their position as a Premier League title threatening side.

Liverpool had been touted as a possible destination for Dybala, but that now appears very unlikely.

There had been some suggestions that Dybala could be the man to fill the void left by Philippe Coutinho after a deal to sign Nabil Fekir fell through at the last minute.
