Alisson will give no thought to his future during the World Cup

Alisson will give no thought to his future during the World Cup Liverpool target Alisson will not be giving any thought to his future during the World Cup, he has insisted. The Roma star has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool this summer as the club look to replace Loris Karius with a top-class goalkeeper ahead of next season. Alisson has long been linked with a switch to Anfield but Roma remain determined to retain his services beyond the summer transfer window. It’s understood that the Brazilian international is content to stay with the Serie A club this summer, but a move to Liverpool is yet to be ruled out as speculation continues to surround his future. Alisson spoke to the media following his side’s 3-0 win over Austria on Sunday and reiterated that he has turned his full focus and attention towards the upcoming World Cup. “I think everything will be resolved before the start of the World Cup, that’s what I want. The truth is that I left everything in the hands of my agent. If everything is not resolved, it will be discussed after the World Cup.” “Right now, I’m focused only on the World Cup. There are some possibilities and we are working on all of them, together with Roma, always respecting the club. We’ll see if anything happens this week.” Liverpool are likely to move for Alisson again this summer but it seems no talks will be ongoing during the World Cup.

Liverpool’s chances of signing Roma goalkeeper Alisson appear to have taken a hit, with Brazil’s goalkeeping coach reiterating the player’s happiness in Italy.

Claudio Tafferel spoke to the media about the Brazil international’s chances of leaving Roma this summer, with talk of a move to Liverpool continuing to build ahead of next season.

Alisson has long been linked with a move to Anfield and with the Reds keen to replace Loris Karius with a new, top-class goalkeeper, the Roma star is a target for Jurgen Klopp.

However, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo, it seems the Reds will be hard-pressed to lure Alisson away from Roma, with Tafferel claiming that the shot-stopper is happy to stay put.

Chelsea reportedly make bid for Roma's Alisson

Chelsea reportedly make bid for Roma's Alisson Chelsea have made a £52m bid to Roma for goalkeeper Alisson, according to reports in Italy. With Thibaut Courtois about to enter the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge, speculation has been rife about where his future may lie. The Belgian has admitted that he would like to be re-united with his Madrid-based family, so a move to either Atletico or Real would suit him. It looks like Chelsea have decided to be proactive and look for a new number one and as such, they’ve made an offer to Roma for Alisson. The Brazilian number one is a reported target for both Liverpool and Real Madrid, but Chelsea look like they’ve tried to steal a march on the two Champions League finalists by making an offer. Roma are likely to reject the bid as they are holding out for bids closer to £70m, although it does look like Alisson will leave this summer as the Serie A side need to raise funds in order to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.

“Alisson is very happy at Roma and the rumours of a transfer are just rumours. I don’t know what will happen, but he said he’d be content to remain at Roma.”

Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak has also been named as a target for the Reds but it’s likely that the release clause included in his deal with the La Liga side will be enough to put Liverpool off a summer approach.

Real Madrid to make initial offer for Reds target Alisson imminently .
Real Madrid will make first contact with Roma goalkeeper and Liverpool target Alisson in the next few hours, according to Sky Sports, who cite Sky Italia. Sky report that the Champions League winners will make an initial offer of £43.7million, which is way short of Roma’s £70million price tag. Real will also not bid beyond £52.4million, plus £8.4million in add-ons. Sky Italia also report that the player’s personal terms are already agreed in principle. It has been reported by a number of sites today that Liverpool hope to steal a march on Real’s plans by contacting Alisson’s representatives, but Sky believe that the Reds are unlikely to make an approach, because they will not meet Roma’s valuation. Another source reportedly told Sky Sports that Alisson is most likely to end up at Real Madrid, although they could turn to Chelsea ‘keeper Thibaut Courtois if a fee can’t be agreed. The 25-year old Brazilian, who is currently in Russia with the Brazil national team, is believed to be Liverpool’s top target to succeed Loris Karius as their new number one. However, a number of other goalkeepers are believed to be on Liverpool’s radar, including Jan Oblak and Jack Butland.
