Liverpool target Alisson wants Madrid move

Liverpool target Alisson wants Madrid move Liverpool target Alisson would prefer a switch to Real Madrid according to reports from Marca today. As quoted by Football Italia, the Brazilian Keeper would reportedly hold out for a move to the Spanish Giants rather than a move to England with either Liverpool or Chelsea. Alisson will play in this Summer’s World Cup, and a good performance in Russia could see his value rise from his high €90 million price tag currently demanded by Roma. Domestically Alisson had a superb season with Roma, leading to the Champions League Semi-Final’s where they were knocked out by Liverpool. Liverpool are desperate for a new keeper, especially after the poor performance from Lloris Karius in the Champions League final against Madrid. Chelsea have also emerged as contenders for Alisson, with reports that Thibaut Courtois is unsettled at Stamford Bridge amid turmoil with the clubs owners and a possible new manager at the Bridge next season.

Liverpool’s chances of signing Roma goalkeeper Alisson appear to have taken a hit, with Brazil’s goalkeeping coach reiterating the player’s happiness in Italy.

Claudio Tafferel spoke to the media about the Brazil international’s chances of leaving Roma this summer, with talk of a move to Liverpool continuing to build ahead of next season.

Alisson has long been linked with a move to Anfield and with the Reds keen to replace Loris Karius with a new, top-class goalkeeper, the Roma star is a target for Jurgen Klopp.

However, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo, it seems the Reds will be hard-pressed to lure Alisson away from Roma, with Tafferel claiming that the shot-stopper is happy to stay put.

Chelsea reportedly make bid for Roma's Alisson

Chelsea reportedly make bid for Roma's Alisson Chelsea have made a £52m bid to Roma for goalkeeper Alisson, according to reports in Italy. With Thibaut Courtois about to enter the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge, speculation has been rife about where his future may lie. The Belgian has admitted that he would like to be re-united with his Madrid-based family, so a move to either Atletico or Real would suit him. It looks like Chelsea have decided to be proactive and look for a new number one and as such, they’ve made an offer to Roma for Alisson. The Brazilian number one is a reported target for both Liverpool and Real Madrid, but Chelsea look like they’ve tried to steal a march on the two Champions League finalists by making an offer. Roma are likely to reject the bid as they are holding out for bids closer to £70m, although it does look like Alisson will leave this summer as the Serie A side need to raise funds in order to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.

“Alisson is very happy at Roma and the rumours of a transfer are just rumours. I don’t know what will happen, but he said he’d be content to remain at Roma.”

Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak has also been named as a target for the Reds but it’s likely that the release clause included in his deal with the La Liga side will be enough to put Liverpool off a summer approach.

Roma ready to hijack Arsenal's deal for key target .
Roma are looking to hijack Arsenal’s attempts to sign Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno, according to talkSPORT, who claim that the Giallorossi want the German to replace Alisson. The Brazilian goalkeeper was one of both Roma’s and Serie A’s star men last season, and has subsequently been linked with a mega money move to either Liverpool or Real Madrid this summer. While it is not yet known where Alisson will go, it is expected that he will depart the Stadio Olimpico during this transfer window. Selling the 25-year old would leave the Italian capital outfit low on squad depth in that department, with only Łukasz Skorupski left at the club, and Leno would represent a smart move to bring in a new number one.
