Batshuayi to make Chelsea decision after World Cup

Batshuayi to make Chelsea decision after World Cup Michy Batshuayi is refusing to decide his future until after the World Cup in Russia this summer. According to the Mirror, the striker is not thinking about his future, amid reports Borussia Dortmund want to sign him permanently. “I don’t have a preference; they’re two beautiful clubs. My focus is on the World Cup right now and I don’t want to think about what happens afterwards.” Batshuayi impressed during his brief spell in the Bundesliga, scoring seven goals in nine starts for the club. Injury cut his time in Germany short, but he is expected to be fit for this summer’s tournament. The striker had fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge under Antonio Conte, who failed to trust the striker on a regular basis. Conte’s imminent departure could be the catalyst for the striker to return to Chelsea and make an impact in the first-team squad. Alvaro Morata continues to be linked with moves away from the club after struggling for consistency in his first season. Inter, Juventus and Milan have all been linked with the player.

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is wanted by Juventus this summer but according to fresh reports, Borussia Dortmund have also joined the race for his signature.

Morata endured a difficult first season in English football despite getting off to an impressive start. He was rotated with Olivier Giroud in the second-half of the season and struggled to cope with the intensity of the Premier League.

The Spanish forward is understood to be a priority target for Juventus, with claims having been made that he’d be keen on a return to Turin.

The German has been linked with a return to England before, with West Ham and Palace both said to have been interested in him. Italian website Calciomercato is reporting that the Eagles are now the front-runners and will look to bid for the player this summer. In his time at the Bridge Schurrle scored 11 goals in 44 Premier League appearances for the club, a decent return. Since leaving west London he has been back in the Bundesliga playing for Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsbug. For Dortmund last season the winger scored three goals in 26 appearances across all competitions. Schurrle has played 57 times for Germany, scoring 22 goals. He scored in the World Cup final in Brazil 2014, helping Joachim Low’s side to lift the trophy. For the World Cup in Russia this summer however, Schurrle has not been included in the squad.

Dortmund in talks to sign Batshuayi on permanent deal .
Borussia Dortmund are in talks to complete a £50 million deal to sign Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, according to the Daily Mail. The Belgian spent the second half of last season on loan at Dortmund, and really impressed. This came after a dissapointing spell at Chelsea, where Batshuayi never really got going. Batshuayi netted 9 times in fourteen games in Germany, before an injury ended his season early at the Westfalenstadion. Chelsea want £50 million for the striker, but reportedly could use Batshuayi as leverage in their pursuit of Dortmund’s American winger Christian Pulisic. The American international is reportedly a key target at Chelsea, with the Blues looking at him with Eden Hazard and Willian both linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge. Bayern look to be the leaders in the pursuit of the winger, who has really impressed since breaking into the Dortmund team and being a key player for the United States at an international level.
