His agent said: “Yaya is fit and desperate to prove he’s still the best central midfielder in the Premier League. Ivory Coast will not be in Russia for the World Cup and next season he will be fit, rested and stronger than ever. He’s happy to accept a one-year deal to stay in England. And if his club are not satisfied with his performances, he will pay back half his wages, or the club can cancel his contract immediately, with no compensation.

Freiburg defender Caglar Soyuncu’s agent Mustafa Dogru has revealed that his client is ready to make the switch to the Premier League this summer with Arsenal strongly linked, as reported by Football London.

The 21-year-old is understood to be very keen on a move to London and feels that Arsenal could be the perfect destination for him.

Sven Mislintat, who heads up Arsenal’s recruitment model, is keen on the player and is looking to make him the club’s first signing of the summer.

Manchester United and Manchester City are both heavily linked with a move for the player, with a number of clubs contacting Freiburg over a transfer for the talented youngster.

His reputation is growing throughout Europe and he has had a strong season in the Bundesliga, which has drawn the attention of a number of the top clubs as he looks set to secure his big move.

The player’s agent has spoken about the situation and how Soyuncu’s next destination is likely to be in the Premier League.

“The main objective of the player is to play in the Premier League, that I can tell you at the moment.”

Arsenal hold talks with Belgian midfielder's agent .
Arsenal have reportedly staged talks with Dennis Praet’s representative ahead of a potential summer move. According to Italian news outlet Di Marzio, the Belgian midfielder has been identified as an alternative option for the Gunners if they fail with their pursuit of Roma star Lorenzo Pellegrini this summer. Arsenal want to bolster their midfield options and have seemingly looked to Serie A for their recruitment, with Sampdoria’s Praet the latest name to be linked. It’s claimed that Arsenal have already sounded out a move for Praet, having held preliminary talks with the former Anderlecht playmaker’s agent. Praet has been a standout player for Sampdoria in recent times and it comes as no surprise to see interest from the Premier League building. Newcastle United have previously been touted as a potential destination for the player. A move to secure Praet could be a feasible outcome for Arsenal, also, with the midfielder’s release clause at Sampdoria currently standing at €25m.
