The experienced midfielder was once an integral part of Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up but his fortunes changed, as injuries began to plague the latter stages of his playing days at Arsenal. Cazorla will be training with Villarreal in pre-season as he bids to improve his fitness ahead of next season, but whether or not he will sign for the Spanish club permanently is unknown at this stage.
