Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has said he will fight Tyson Fury whenever the Mancunian is ready, as per a report in ESPN.

Joshua, who defeated Joseph Parker last month in his first fight to go the distance, made the claim after it was announced last week that Fury will return to the ring on June 9th.

“If he wants to fight me next, he can fight me next. If he wants to fight 10 fights down the line, he can do that as well.”

Fury, who hasn’t stepped foot in the ring since beating Wladimir Klitschko in a unanimous points victory in November 2015, has struggled with his mental health as well as failing a drugs test for cocaine which led to him having his license revoked by the British Boxing Board of Control.

Joshua also said he was willing to fight WBC title holder Deontay Wilder next in a fight that would crown an undisputed champion.

“With or without Wilder, my career will go on. I’ll keep doing this for another 10 years, and then I’m done.”
