Matteo Darmian is flattered by rumoured interest from Juventus but insists he is "living a great experience" at Manchester United.

Juventus have been strongly linked with a move for the full-back, who has slipped down the pecking order at Old Trafford in Jose Mourinho's second season in charge.

Signed from Torino in July 2015, the Italy international featured regularly under former United manager Louis van Gaal but has made just two Premier League starts in the 2017-18 campaign.

While he has no regrets about his decision to move to England, Darmian admits to missing his homeland as speculation mounts over his future in Manchester.

Matteo Darmian 'agrees' to Juventus move

Matteo Darmian 'agrees' to Juventus move Matteo Darmian has reportedly agreed to join Juventus this summer as he edges closer to an Old Trafford exit. A report from Tuttosport, as cited by the Daily Mail claims that the Italian has verbally agreed to a move to the Old Lady. The deal is now likely to be formalised in the summer with Juventus due to hold further talks with Manchester United. Darmian has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford since Jose Mourinho took charge of the club. Ashley Young has been the preferred option at left-back this season, while Antonio Valencia has been a mainstay at right-back. After joining the club from Torino, a lot has been expected of the defender, but he has never managed to fulfil his potential at the club. Juventus have been heavily linked with a move for Darmian for some time, while other Italian sides such as Roma have also been credited with an interest in the past.

The Italian right-back has struggled for game time at Old Trafford and is now wanted by the Italian giants.

"I'm living a great experience here in England. I'd say yes to United again," the defender said in an interview with Sky Italia.

"It's one of the best clubs in the world. I won several trophies here but I miss Italy. Let's see what happens at the end of the season. Now the priority is to end the season in the best way possible.

Asked about a potential switch to the defending Serie A champions, he added: "I have not decided yet. I am happy Juventus are interested in me. Juve are a great club and I am happy for that. I will think about a possible move when it will be the right time."

The 28-year-old has made just one substitute appearance in the league in 2018, coming off the bench in the closing stages of United's 2-1 home win over Liverpool.

Serie A sides join Everton in chase for free agent midfielder .
Inter Milan have reportedly joined the race for Everton target Kwadwo Asamoah, who will be a free agent this summer. The Liverpool Echo are reporting that Milan have jumped to the front of the the queue for the Ghanaian, despite initial interest from the Toffees. Asamoah joined Juventus in 2012, but has seen his playing time limited due to extensive injuries and the form of Alex Sandro. The player can play at left-back or in midfield, and his versatility has reportedly alerted Inter Milan and Udinese, with the former rumoured to have offered him a three year contract worth €3.5m a year. Despite having made 23 appearances in all competitions this campaign, Asamoah is expected to leave Turin this summer, and could do so with his sixth Serie A crown, should Juve manage to hold off Napoli in the final few games. Everton have endured a disappointing campaign this time around, but it is thought Sam Allardyce will be given a significant budget to improve the squad in the summer.
