The 2011 NBA MVP on Monday cleared waivers and is available to sign with a new team, ESPN reported.

Rose was waived by the Jazz on Saturday, just two days after joining Utah via a trade from the Cavaliers.

According to the report, no team has yet to make Rose a firm offer despite some interest from around the league.

The report also noted that the Wizards considered acquiring Rose after John Wall's knee surgery but are also looking into other players, including fellow guard Ty Lawson.

However, Marc Stein with The New York Times noted teams could wait until after the All-Star Break to give Rose a chance.

The nine-year veteran has played just 16 games (seven starts) this season, averaging 9.8 points, 1.6 assists and 1.8 rebounds in 19.3 minutes per contest.
