Italian source Corriere dello Sport, as cited by Calciomercato, report that Premier League leaders Manchester City were interested in signing Can in the summer when his Liverpool contract expires. However, the paper claims that Can is eager to join Juventus in the summer and rejected an approach from Manchester City, much to the delight of Liverpool fans who wouldn’t have taken the news of the midfielder joining a league rival well. Bayern Munich are also believed to have been snubbed by Can who has his heart firmly set on Turin and Juventus.
