Nino Niederreiter hit a hat-trick in under 25 minutes to help his Minnesota Wild to a 6-2 victory over the Buffalo Sabres.

The 25-year-old put his side 1-0 up after just 1:09 with a snapshot and the lead was doubled nearly a minute later by Daniel Winnik.

The Wild went into the first intermission 3-0 up with Niederreiter's 12th of the season, a powerplay goal.

Buffalo were shutout until the third quarter, where they grabbed two consolation goals courtesy of Sam Reinhart and Evander Kane.

The Philadelphia Flyers also hit six to bag a win against the New York Islanders.
