West Ham winger Sofiane Feghouli is set to complete a £4m move to Turkish club Galatasaray, according to Sky sources.

The 27-year-old will fly to Turkey on Saturday to complete the move after just a single season at the London Stadium.

The Hammers need to lower their wage bill after signing a number of players, including Joe Hart on loan from Manchester City and Javier Hernandez from Bayer Leverkusen.

Manager Slaven Bilic has made five major signings ahead of the new Premier League season, which begins against Manchester United live on Super Sunday on Sky Sports Football.

West Ham preparing club-record bid for William Carvalho

West Ham preparing club-record bid for William Carvalho West Ham aren’t finished with their summer spending this summer and are plotting a bid that could break the club’s transfer record for a second time during the transfer window. The Daily Mail have claimed that the Hammers are preparing a £25m bid for Sporting Lisbon’s star midfielder William Carvalho. Sporting have fielded interest from a number of Premier League clubs in recent years including the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and West Brom but no club have struck a deal for the Euro 2016 winner. West Ham broke their transfer record earlier this summer with a £25m deal for Marko Arnautovic but due to the way the deal was structured, with £5m of the fee coming as potential performance-based add-ons, a potential deal for Carvalho would eclipse that fee, setting a new club-record transfer in the process. Slaven Bilic is still trying to trim the fat of his squad with Sofiane Feghouli and Robert Snodgrass edging closer to summer exits to Galatasaray and Aston Villa respectively, while the Hammers are confident they can agree a deal with Brentford for Spanish attacker Jota after having a £3m bid rejected.

Sky Sports News understands West Ham remain in talks to sign Sporting Lisbon and Portugal international midfielder William Carvalho.

They are confident they can secure a deal for Carvalho, but are hoping to pay less than his £40m release fee.

The 25-year-old, who helped Portugal win Euro 2016, is a product of the Sporting academy and has scored nine goals in 137 appearances since making his first-team debut in 2011.

Sporting have recently signed midfielder Rodrigo Battaglia as a potential replacement for Carvalho.
