West Brom ready to sell Rondon

West Brom ready to sell Rondon West Brom are ready to let go of striker Salomon Rondon this summer, according to the Mirror. The report claims that Tony Pulis is willing to sell Rondon if a decent offer comes in for him. This comes a matter of months after the club rejected an offer from China in the region of £32m for Rondon. The centre-forward had scored seven goals during the first half of the season and Chinese side Tianjin Quanjian were ready to pounce. However, the offer was rejected and Rondon went on to score just once more in the league for the rest of the season. West Brom completed the signing of Jay Rodriguez from Southampton for £12m earlier this month, which has allowed Pulis to keep his options open in regard to letting Rondon leave. The number nine has been at West Brom for two seasons, scoring 17 Premier League goals across the two years.

West Brom are interested in signing Kieran Gibbs and have approached Arsenal to discuss a potential transfer, Sky sources understand.

Sky Sports News HQ has been told the Gunners want around £10m for the defender, but Albion are not prepared to pay that amount.

Baggies boss Tony Pulis, who is currently with his squad in Hong Kong for the Asia Trophy, has been looking for a specialist left-back and sees Gibbs as his best option.

The 27-year-old made just eight Premier League starts last season and 22 appearances in all competitions overall - his second season struggling for first-team games.

Gibbs has 10 England caps but has fallen out of the national-team frame while his chances have been limited under Arsene Wenger.

West Brom have so far made only two signings this summer; Jay Rodriguez from Southampton and Zhang Yuning from Vitesse but the 20-year-old has been loaned to Werder Bremen.

West Brom interested in Gibbs but don't want to pay £12m .
West Brom are keen on signing Arsenal outcast Kieran Gibbs, but do not want to pay the £12m price tag for the left back, according to the Mail Online, Gibbs’ future has been in doubt for a couple of years now with him failing to hold down a starting spot ahead of Nacho Monreal and after the arrival of Sead Kolasinac, the English defender is likely to leave The Emirates this summer. West Brom are interested in Gibbs but they don’t want to pay £12m for him, however, with Newcastle and Watford interested in him, Arsenal will be hoping a bidding war ensues. A move away from Arsenal would make sense for Gibbs as although he is going to move to a lower caliber club, he will be getting regular fist team football for a Premier League club which could help him get into the England squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
