West Ham close in on Hart deal

West Ham close in on Hart deal West Ham are closing in on a deal to sign Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart on loan, according to the Telegraph. The report claims that West Ham are close to completing the signing of Hart on a season-long loan from City, as he looks set for an exit from The Etihad. City manager Pep Guardiola made it clear last summer that Hart was not in his plans and shipped him out on loan to Torino in Italy, where he had mixed reviews. Neither Darren Randolph nor Adrian was able to impress enough for Slaven Bilic to put his confidence in them for the 2017/18 campaign. The report also claims that West Ham could have an option to buy Hart on a permanent deal at the end of the loan. Manchester City are looking for a fee in the region of £20m.

It’s claimed in the report that an initial bid worth £2.6m was rejected by Napoli, with them keen to make £4.4m from the sale of Reina. However, City should have absolutely no problem with reaching an agreement with the Serie A outfit, and an agreement is looking likely.

Juventus in advanced negotiations over Szczesny move

Juventus in advanced negotiations over Szczesny move Arsenal are reportedly in advanced negotiations with Juventus over a move for Wojciech Szczesny this summer. According to a report from the Mirror, the Gunners are holding successful talks with the Serie A champions ahead of the Pole’s expected move to Turin, and a deal could be struck soon. Max Allegri is keen to land the Poland international as he looks to secure a backup option for Gianluigi Buffon this summer. Szczesny has impressed during his loan spell with Roma and boasts immense experience at the top level. This has clearly prompted Juve to seek a move for the goalkeeper, whose time at Arsenal appears to be rapidly coming to an end. The 27-year-old is poised to complete a deal worth a fee in the region of £8m, and will be keen to impress when given the opportunity. Arsenal, meanwhile, may be keen to land a goalkeeper themselves this summer. David Ospina looks set to depart, and Petr Cech is remaining in pole position to be the club’s number one for the 2017/18 campaign.
