Sky Sports will have round-the-clock coverage from Royal Birkdale, with a dedicated channel for the 10 days around the third major of the year.

Featured group coverage will be available during every round on the red button and the Sky Sports apps, with viewers having the chance to select the players they would like to track on Thursday morning.

Padraig Harrington, the winner of the last Open to be held at Royal Birkdale in 2008, is part of the first option as he tees off with Pat Perez and big-hitting Thomas Pieters at 9.36am.

Defending champion Henrik Stenson features in the second trio to consider, with two-time major winner Jordan Spieth and Players champion Si Woo Kim completing that threeball.

The final group available begin at 9.58am and contains Justin Rose, Justin Thomas and 2010 champion Louis Oosthuizen, with voting closing at midday on Wednesday.
