PSG shortlist Emre Can as a possible summer buy

PSG shortlist Emre Can as a possible summer buy Emre Can’s future remains uncertain, to say the least. The former Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder arguably enjoyed his best stretch of games for Liverpool during the second half of last season, highlighted by the spectacular winner against Watford which helped Liverpool on their way to securing a spot in next season’s Champions League. As the players return for pre-season, it could be argued that Can still doesn’t know where he stands at the club. With his contract due to expire next summer, the club risk losing him for nothing unless they can tie him down to a new long-term contract. That being said, Liverpool will not be held to ransom by Can’s wage demands and may even cash-in on him this summer, and the list of potential suitors continues to grow. While Juventus have been tracking Can for a while, PSG have now entered the race for the Germany international. It’s believed that PSG will look to sign Can if Blaise Matuidi leaves the club, with the Frenchman also wanted by Juventus. The Ligue 1 giants have also been chasing Philippe Coutinho as well this summer. Liverpool will demand a big fee for the versatile midfielder, but the priority remains agreeing to terms for a contract extension.

The report adds the contract will run until the summer of 2021. GETTY. Emre Can set to sign new £100,000-a-week Liverpool deal despite Juventus interest. Related articles. Liverpool target Mor given permission to talks to other clubs - Agent.

West Ham join the race to sign Juventus midfielder Lemina

West Ham join the race to sign Juventus midfielder Lemina West Ham have joined Watford and Everton in the race to sign Mario Lemina from Juventus this summer. The Hertfordshire Mercury reports that the West Ham are interested in the player who Juventus value at roughly €20 million. There is also thought to be interest from Sevilla, Galatasaray and Bayer Leverkusen for the player. Slaven Bilic is out to strengthen his squad this summer after a disappointing Premier League campaign last season. Lemina is a versatile option in the middle of the park but can also feature out wide if needed. Despite making 31 appearances for the Turin side last season, Lemina is thought to be considering his future at the club as he goes in search of regular first-team football. With the World Cup coming up at the end of the season, Lemina, like many players next season, will be desperate to get as much football under his belt.
