Fulham eye move for Norwich striker

Fulham eye move for Norwich striker Fulham are interested in signing Norwich striker Cameron Jerome, reports GetWestLondon . Jerome is thought to be a replacement for Chris Martin, who spent last season on loan with the Cottagers, but has not signed permanently. However, a stumbling block for Fulham, the report suggests, is that the club has a policy of signing no players over the age of 28. This would mean that Jerome, 31, would be ineligible to sign for them if they followed this policy. Jerome signed for Norwich in 2014 from Stoke, following the Canaries relegation from the Premier League. Since then, Jerome has made 121 appearances for City, scoring 40 goals in his three seasons in East Anglia. Fulham finished last season 6th in the Championship, two places and ten points above Norwich. They missed out on promotion after losing to Reading in the play-off semi-final 2-1. They will hope to aim for promotion next season and begin their campaign at home to Norwich.

Championship side Fulham have signed Chelsea forward Lucas Piazon on loan until January and Derby County striker Chris Martin on a season-long loan . Fulham will have the option to buy Martin, 27, for £9m at the end of his loan deal, reports BBC Radio 5 Live.

Lucas Piazon has extended his loan with Fulham until the end of the season. Piazon , 22, has played 17 times for Championship side Fulham since joining on loan in the summer, scoring four times. ON THIS DAY: Dennis Wise signed for Chelsea.

Farke says Husband is the perfect fit for Norwich

Farke says Husband is the perfect fit for Norwich Norwich City head coach says that James Husband is the perfect fit for the squad, following his arrival from Middlesbrough. The club have officially confirmed that Husband has joined Norwich on a three-year deal, with the fee rumoured to be in the region of £1m. That would make Husband Norwich’s most expensive purchase of the summer so far. It did stand at Mario Vrancic, who joined from Darmstadt for £650k. Husband becomes City’s sixth summer signing, following on from Angus Gunn, Marley Watkins, Mario Vrancic, Harrison Reed and Christoph Zimmermann. Speaking to Norwich’s website, Farke said this: “James is quick, he’s technically good and knows how to defend. There are some things he needs to improve but he’s young and his attitude and character are excellent.” “He’s a young guy with lots of potential, but he also already has strong experience of playing in the Championship. He’s an excellent fit for our squad.” The left-back joins to compete with Harry Toffolo for a starting spot in the side next season and comes in with Championship experience. The defender has 62 Championship appearances to his name, with Middlesbrough, Doncaster, Huddersfield and Fulham. He also has Premier League experience, albeit just one game, against Hull last season in the top-flight before Middlesbrough’s eventual relegation. The 23-year-old could feature against Stevenage tonight.

Chelsea transfer news: Lucas Piazon joins Fulham on loan until January as the Brazilian looks to get more first team football. Fulham sign Piazon to help push with their promotion bid back to the Premier League.

Lucas Piazon has joined our west London neighbours Fulham on loan until 15 January. Piazon signed for Chelsea in the summer of 2011, lifting the FA Youth Cup in his first season before graduating to a senior debut in September 2012.

Antonio Conte has sanctioned the move, given that he was unlikely to break into the Chelsea side.

The 23-year-old will now be able to get a full season of regular game time before Chelsea make a decision on his future next summer.

Piazon has been at Chelsea since 2011.

Fulham agree loan deal for Sheyi Ojo .
Championship club Fulham have agreed to take winger Sheyi Ojo on a season-long loan, according to a report from Sky Sports. The Liverpool winger must now decide whether he wants to join the Cottagers or Middlesbrough. The 20-year-old has already spent time out on loan at Wolves and Wigan and despite the odd appearance in the first team, he’s been unable to nail down a regular role in Jurgen Klopp’s side. The youngster has been touted as one of Liverpool’s brightest young prospects for a number of years but injuries have played their part in halting his progress. After being left of of the touring squad to play in the Premier League’s Asia Trophy, it looked to be a matter of time before Ojo went out on loan. The player now has three options on the table, time will tell which one he decides to take up ahead of a very important season.
