Huddersfield in advanced talks with Chelsea over Izzy Brown

Huddersfield in advanced talks with Chelsea over Izzy Brown Huddersfield Town are in advanced talks with Chelsea as they look to sign forward Izzy Brown on a permanent deal, as per a report from the Telegraph’s John Percy. Brown impressed during the second part of last season whilst on loan at the Terriers as he helped them gain promotion to the Premier League and now David Wagner wants to sign him permanently. The 20-year-old’s prospects of playing regular first-team football at Chelsea next season look very slim so he’s likely to be keen to make the move so that he can play top-flight football every week and do so for a team who he’s familiar with. Chelsea are reportedly going to ask for around £8million for the forward and Huddersfield are seemingly happy to pay that, even though they’ve already committed to spending £10million on Manchester City’s Aaron Mooy, another player who spent time on loan with the play-off winners last season.

Huddersfield want to re-sign Izzy Brown on loan

Huddersfield want to re-sign Izzy Brown on loan Izzy Brown is yet to make his mark at Stamford Bridge following his move from West Brom as a highly-rated teenager, but the attacker had made his name out on loan. Last season, Brown netted five goals in 20 appearances on loan with Huddersfield as David Wagner guided them into the Premier League for the first time in their history. It was claimed that the Terriers were interested in an £8m permanent deal for Brown, but the Mirror are reporting that the newly-promoted side are much more interested in a second loan deal for Brown rather than a permanent transfer just now. The 20-year-old is not expected to be considered for a role in Antonio Conte’s first-team squad next season and is expected to leave the club either on loan or on a permanent basis. It seems as if Huddersfield are very keen on bringing Brown back to the club as they look to build a squad capable of ensuring Premier League survival.

Huddersfield Town are reportedly keen on a permanent deal for Izzy Brown , who is set for transfer talks with Chelsea . David Wagner’s men sealed their remarkable promotion to the Premier League on Sunday, with a dramatic penalty shoot-out win over Reading in the Championship play-off final.

IZZY BROWN wants talks over his Chelsea future, with a Huddersfield return a possibility. The striker helped inspire the Terriers’ promotion to the Premier League after joining on loan in January.
