Swansea keen on Tammy Abraham

Swansea keen on Tammy Abraham Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is a man in demand this summer, and it looks as though Swansea City are the latest side to express an interest in the Newcastle target. According to a report from the Northern Echo, the Swans have joined the race to land the England Under-21 international as he continues to impress. Last season was a hugely successful one for Abraham, with him finishing the season as Bristol City’s top scorer, playing a huge part in keeping them afloat during his loan spell. Now though, the young forward has set his sights on playing regular football in the Premier League, meaning that Chelsea will be keen to loan him out. Swansea will need more attacking flair next season and Abraham would offer a new dimension, but Fernando Llorente is undoubtedly Paul Clement’s first choice striker. However, Newcastle remain strongly positioned to land Abraham, given their known, long-term desire to recruit him. Brighton have also confirmed their interest.

Leicester City are reportedly looking to make a move for highly-rated Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham , currently on loan at Bristol City.

Swansea City are reportedly interested in bringing Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham to the Liberty Stadium. The Welsh side have joined the likes of Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion to hijack a move for the talented youngster .

Swansea City are keen to sign Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham on loan ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.

The 19-year-old impressed on loan at Bristol City last term as he scored 23 times in 41 Championship outings.

His fine performances have sparked interest from a number of Premier League sides and Swansea have now joined the race for the striker's signature.

"He is a young and up-and-coming player we are interested in," Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins told the BBC.

"Tammy does not have Premier League experience, but we are interested. [Manager] Paul Clement knows him from Chelsea.

"If you look at the options which have been publicised, Brighton, Newcastle and ourselves.

"So it is left to Tammy and his family to decide where he wants to go next."

Abraham advised to join Swansea due to Newcastle nightlife .
Chelsea’s teenage striker Tammy Abraham has been advised to join Swansea City over Newcastle due to the raucous nightlife in the North-East, Wales Online reports. Newcastle were keen to sign Abraham on a season long loan, along with fellow promoted side Brighton, but after Chelsea officials said the 19-year-old prospect would have less off-field distractions if he went to Swansea, Abraham opted for the South Wales outfit. After a successful spell at Bristol City in the Championship last season, Abraham is keen to prove his worth in the top flight, and Paul Clement’s side have given him the perfect opportunity to do just that. Rafael Benitez is said to already be growing frustrated at the lack of transfers at St James’ Park, and this will be another blow to his preparations for next season. After missing out on strong centre-back Ruben Semedo to Villarreal already, this could be a long summer for Newcastle fans.
