Felipe Anderson dreams of playing for United

Felipe Anderson dreams of playing for United Lazio winger Felipe Anderson admits he dreams of playing for Manchester United one day. Speaking on Sport TV, as reported by the Daily Mail, Anderson hints that he could make the move to Old Trafford one day. “Every player dreams of playing for a team like United. After my season that was very good in the second year, there has always been a lot of speculation. If an opportunity shows up, or when I present myself at Lazio, I have to present myself very well.” Anderson, along with fellow winger Keita Balde have been two of the shining stars for Lazio last season. Both players are likely to be targeted by a number of clubs around Europe this summer. His team-mate Keita Balde is being linked with moves to both AC Milan and Juventus this summer. The Brazilian scored five times for Lazio in all competitions last season, whilst also registering nine assists, helping the Italians to a fifth place finish. The 24-year-old is a versatile attacker. Despite featuring largely as a right forward, he can also play on the left and through the middle. Anderson joined Lazio in 2013 for just under €8 million and has one senior appearance at senior level for Brazil.

Anderson , 27, was able to take over Invicta FC’s 145-pound division after Cyborg left for UFC . If this matchup does in fact get booked, de Randamie will most likely be stripped of her title , making her UFC 208 clash with Holm one of the more ridiculous title fights of all time.

After UFC President Dana White recently confirmed Cristiane Justino will fight at UFC 214 , “ Cyborg ” finally has an opponent for the card: Invicta FC featherweight champion Megan Anderson . UFC officials today announced Germaine de Randamie (7-4 MMA, 4-1 UFC ) has been stripped of the

The UFC have seemingly lost patience with Germaine de Randamie by stripping her of the featherweight title and have quickly moved to fill the vacancy.

UFC officials today announced that Cristiane ‘Cyborg’ Justino will face off against Megan Anderson in a co-main event billing at UFC 214 on July 29th.

The UFC released the following statement regarding De Randamie’s removal as featherweight champion:

“UFC has informed Germaine de Randamie and her management team that she is being removed as the women’s featherweight champion due to her unwillingness to fight the No. 1 ranked contender, Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino. UFC maintains that any champion is expected to accept fights against the top contenders in their respective weight classes in order to maintain the integrity of the sport.”

West Ham keen to sign Chris Wood from Leeds United

West Ham keen to sign Chris Wood from Leeds United West Ham are one of at least two Premier League sides interested in Leeds United stirrer Chris Wood, according to David Anderson of the Mirror. Twitter: Am told Huddersfield are not in for Leeds’ striker Chris Wood. But Stoke and West Ham are keen on the prolific Kiwi striker. (@MirrorAnderson) There had been rumours that Huddersfield Town were interested in the New Zealand striker but Anderson reports that they are not, although Stoke City and the Hammers are. The 25-year-old has had a very journeyman-like career up until this point but last season he scored 30 goals in 48 games for Leeds United and was the catalyst behind them making a push for promotion, albeit one that fell away fairly dramatically. Under the management of Garry Monk, Wood had the best season of his career but with a new regime in charge next season, there is no guarantee that the team will set up to get the most out of him and a move to the Premier League could well be on the cards.

UFC strips Germaine De Randamie of 145 pound belt and puts it up for grabs in fight between Cris Cyborg and Megan Anderson at UFC 214 . " UFC Strips De Randamie Of 145 Pound Belt, Adds Cris Cyborg Vs . Megan Anderson For The Title At UFC 214 ".

The UFC has confirmed that Cris ‘ Cyborg ’ Justino and Megan Anderson will fight for the recently vacated women’s featherweight championship at UFC 214 after Germaine de Randamie was stripped of the title .

Since losing her first bout via submission, Cyborg (17-1, 1 NC) has gone unbeaten during her MMA career and is seen as the consensus #1 featherweight in female MMA. The Brazilian fighter has fought twice under the UFC banner, winning both bouts via TKO, but had been forced to cut down to a 140 lbs catchweight.

Anderson (9-2), meanwhile, took over the Invicta FC featherweight title once Cyborg moved to the UFC and had been expected to defend her title at Invicta FC 24. With de Randamie now stripped of her title, Anderson’s public plea’s to fight Cyborg have been rewarded by the UFC and will now make her promotional debut at UFC 214.

Woodley vs Maia added to UFC 214; St-Pierre to face winner .
UFC 214 has added a third championship fight to its line-up. Announcing the fight himself on ‘UFC Tonight’, Tyron Woodley will defend his welterweight title for the third time against the number one contender Demian Maia. Woodley vs Maia joins a light heavyweight title fight between rivals Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones in addition to Cyborg Santos vs Tonya Evinger for the vacant women’s featherweight title. Woodley (17-3-1) is currently on a five-fight unbeaten streak dating back to August 2014. ‘The Chosen One’ successfully challenged for the UFC 170 lbs title at UFC 201 against Robbie Lawler after having waited for over a year to receive his title shot. After knocking out Lawler in the first round, Woodley’s first title defence would end in a majority draw against Stephen Thompson but the champion would then earn a majority decision in the rematch at UFC 209. Maia (25-6) meanwhile has seen a late career resurgence coinciding with a drop down in weight class. The 39-year-old has gone undefeated in his last seven bouts including wins over Neil Magny, Gunnar Nelson, Matt Brown, Carlos Condit and Jorge Masvidal. The UFC 214 bout will mark the second time Maia has challenged for UFC gold after an unsuccessful challenge of Anderson Silva’s middleweight crown in 2010. UFC president Dana White has also revealed that the returning Georges St-Pierre will face the winner of the welterweight title fight later this year as opposed to challenging Michael Bisping for his middleweight belt.
