Arsenal interested in Barcelona midfielder Rafinha

Arsenal interested in Barcelona midfielder Rafinha Arsenal are interested in signing €30m-rated Barcelona midfielder Rafinha Alcantara as manager Arsene Wenger wants to add creativity to the Premier League club’s midfield ahead of the new season, according to a report from Marca (h/t Sport Witness). The 24-year-old made 26 appearances for Barcelona last season but did not get enough game time as he wanted as only started 16 times for the Spanish giants. The Brazilian international is keen on getting first team football every week and Barcelona could use Hector Bellerin as part of a potential deal with the Gunners. Rafinha is reported to fancy a move to the Premier League and with Arsenal interested, that could well be his destination this summer. The midfielder suits the style of play that Wenger adopts at the Emirates and is a technically gifted player. Rafinha managed to get his name on the scoresheet six times last season in the La Liga as the Catalan giants narrowly missed out on the league title to rivals Real Madrid. Rafinha has been somewhat overlooked at Barcelona, much like his brother Thiago was before he secured a move to German giants Bayern Munich, where he is now thriving. And it seems the same may be needed for Rafinha. A move away from the Nou Camp could well bring the best out of the youngster and Arsenal are yet to make a bid.

Could Rafinha hold the key for Hector Bellerin 's return to Barcelona? Barcelona midfielder Rafinha could be used as makeweight in a deal that would see Hector Bellerin return to the Catalan side and the Brazilian move to Arsenal.

Juventus identify Arsenal man as summer target .
Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has been identified as a target for Juventus as they plan for the exit of Dani Alves this summer. According to a report from the Mirror, the Italian giants are keen to swiftly replacement the Brazilian as a potential exit looms in the coming weeks. Alves is being targeted by Chelsea and Manchester City and with reports suggesting that he is unhappy in Turin, it’s looking likely that a move to the Premier League may beckon for the 34-year-old. However, this ultimately means that Max Allegri will need to scout Europe for replacements, and it’s stated that Bellerin is a name under consideration. The Spaniard’s future at the Emirates has been scrutinised in the last few months and while he has a long contract with the Gunners, a summer exit is not beyond the realms of possibility. The report claims that Juve have also earmarked Matteo Darmian from Manchester United as a potential signing, but Bellerin is sure to be the favourable option if obtainable.
