The Cavaliers and Warriors seemed destined to meet in the NBA Finals with undefeated playoff records as each team tore through its half of the playoff bracket. The Celtics' window of opportunity to steal a game or two, if not more, against the Cavs in the Eastern Conference finals appeared to be closing with All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas sidelined with an injury and the Celtics trailing by 21 points in the third quarter of Game 3. Then Boston rallied, Avery Bradley's 3-point shot took a friendly bounce and dropped in with a tenth of second remaining, and the Celtics had a 111-108 victory in Cleveland.
