Team news: Rangers vs Celtic .
Celtic return to league action as they look to stretch their unbeaten run to 42 games when they travel to Ibrox on Saturday. Brendan Rodgers’ side demolished Rangers 2-0 at Hampden and booked their place in next month’s final where they will face Aberdeen. The Hoops are still on course for an unbeaten league campaign and will return to the stadium they won 2-1 at on Hogmanay this Saturday. Pedro Caixinha’s side are still chasing second place but a loss to Celtic and a win for Aberdeen will rule out any hopes of climbing the table. Celtic Scott Brown successfully appealed his red card and is free to play this Saturday. However he will miss the two following games against St Johnstone and Aberdeen through suspension having gone over the disciplinary threshold. Moussa Dembele is out for the trip to Ibrox after injurying his hamstring last week but Rodgers hasn’t ruled him out of returning in time for next month’s Cup final against Aberdeen. Rangers Clint Hill was only fit enough to make the bench in the semi-final loss to Celtic but may return to the starting line-up this weekend. Captain Lee Wallace is still out with a hamstring injury along with Lee Hodson. Jordan Rossiter and Niko Kranjcar are long-term absentees.
