Klose ruled out of Brighton clash

Klose ruled out of Brighton clash Norwich manager Alan Irvine has ruled Timm Klose out of the club’s clash with Brighton on Friday. The Canaries host Brighton at Carrow Road this week, but will be without Klose after Irvine confirmed he will miss ten days with injury. Klose was forced to hobble off injured at half-time against Fulham on Friday after landing awkwardly on his ankle when jumping for a header. Twitter: Irvine positively beaming. #ncfc win back at his former club, subs came off and Klose back in 10 days. Been a good day. #pnefc (@michaeljbailey) This means that he will be unable to feature against Brighton, but could still have a part to play against Leeds away next week and QPR on the final day of the season. Klose has featured 33 times for Norwich in all competitions this season but has had his critics from time to time. His future is still up in the air following a dispute between Klose and former manager Alex Neil. Klose told fans that Neil asked him to find a new club in the summer.

Over 2.5 goals has come in the last four Norwich games and both teams have scored in the last three and both look the way to profit at 7/10 with BoyleSports and at the general 8/15 and I wouldn’t rule out over 3.5 goals in the match either which is 17/10 at BetVictor

Norwich City caretaker manager Alan Irvine has handed out the latest squad news ahead of his side’s clash with Brighton on Friday night in the Championship.

Brighton have the chance to seal the Championship title at Carrow Road, they only need a point to celebrate winning the league.

The Canaries will be out to stop that, but will be without central defender Timm Klose.

Irvine has confirmed, as he did last week, that Klose will miss the match with injury. This was after he went off injured against Fulham last Friday.

Speaking to Norwich’s website, Irvine said this:

“Timm won’t be fit but he’s making progress and I expect we’ll see him before the end of the season.”

There was some good news though, with Irvine confirming that Wes Hoolahan is back in contention after sitting out the win over Preston.

“Wes is available.”

“The agreement with Wes before the Reading game was that we’d get him out there for two games and then give him a breather.”

Alex Tettey also say out at Preston, but has returned to training this week and could feature against the Albion.

Matt Jarvis and Louis Thompson remained sidelined for the foreseeable future.

Norwich team news: Leeds (A) .
Norwich City caretaker manager Alan Irvine has given the latest squad update ahead of his side’s trip to face Leeds at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday. Irvine started with some disappointing news for City fans; Wes Hoolahan and Alex Tettey will both sit out the clash with injury. The pair were on the bench for the win over Brighton, but will not be taking any part in the match against Leeds with their respective injuries. Hoolahan will be absent with a hip injury, whilst Tettey is suffering with a back problem. Speaking to Norwich’s website, Irvine said this: “Unfortunately we won’t have Wes or Alex.” “Wes has a hip injury and Alex has a recurrence on his back injury, so that’s disappointing.” There was some positive news, however, as Irvine confirmed that Timm Klose will be back in the squad. Klose hobbled off injured against Fulham, but will be in contention to start against the Yorkshire side. “Timm’s in the squad. He’s trained this week and done well, so we’re pleased to have him back.” Matt Jarvis and Louis Thompson remained sidelined for the rest of the seasons with their long-term injuries.
