Lily Allen, Emeli Sande, Stormzy, Craig David, and James Arthur will also be among the all-stars involved in the fundraiser. The singers will perform segments of Simon & Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water this weekend for the single, which will be released on Monday (19Jun17), according to The Sun. Cowell pledged to help the victims of the London fire disaster after watching news of the blaze unfold on TV in the U.S., where the music and TV mogul is currently shooting America's Got Talent, on Wednesday (14Jun17). "I am watching the footage of the Grenfell Tower fire in London. Heartbreaking," Simon, who produced the charity single Everybody Hurts for the victims of the Haiti earthquake in 2010, tweeted on Thursday (15Jun17). "We hope to confirm a record tomorrow which will raise some money for the many people affected by this tragedy. Making calls tonight." Announcing his initial all-star line-up on Friday (16Jun17), Cowell revealed he is hoping to secure more big names for the studio session, which will take place on Sunday. "Until that last note has been finished, we will not be off the phone," he says. "We started 24 hours ago and already we're getting calls coming in, mainly from Brits.

Other musicians confirmed to appear on the charity cover, include Robbie Williams , Paloma Faith, Ella Eyre, Tulisa Contostavlos and Skepta. Celine Dion joins the star-studded guest list on Simon Cowell 's charity single for the Grenfell Tower victims.

Robbie Williams has been added to the star-studded line-up of Simon Cowell's charity single for the Grenfell Tower fire.

Reportedly due to the ever-growing guest list, Cowell's orchestrated cover of Simon And Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water will be released on Wednesday 21 June at 8am. It was initially expected to arrive on Monday 19 June.

Confirming the news, Good Morning Britain journalist Philippa Tomson tweeted: "Robbie Williams, Emeli Sande. Some of the stars recording the Artists For Grenfell single. Released on Wed. More on @gmb MON." The reporter claims to have heard the song and said it is "sounding incredible".

Stormzy, Robbie Williams and Gareth Malone join forces for Simon Cowell ’s Grenfell Tower charity single . Plenty of famous faces come together for the Bridge Over Troubled Water cover which will be released on Wednesday.

It comes after several stars were seen arriving at the Sarm recording studios in Notting Hill, west London, nearby to where the blaze at Grenfell Tower took place on 13 June.

Rita Ora led the way with the likes of Leona Lewis, James Blunt, Roger Daltrey, Craig David, Pixie Lott, Stormzy, Westlife's Shane Filan, Gregory Porter and Emeli Sande, following behind. Other musicians confirmed to appear on the charity cover, include Paloma Faith, Ella Eyre, Tulisa Contostavlos and Skepta.

Speculation is rife that One Direction will reunite on the ballad with Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne confirmed to appear. Band members Harry Styles and Niall Horan are yet to announce their involvement but a source told The Sun that if all four singers appear on the charity song, it would be as solo acts rather than the group.

Artists For Grenfell charity single debuts at number one .
The Grenfell Tower charity single, which was recorded in London on Monday (19Jun17), has topped the U.K. charts. Simon Cowell brought stars like Robbie Williams, The Who, Rita Ora, and Louis Tomlinson together to perform a cover of Simon & Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water to support the blaze victims' families and survivors of last week's (12Jun17) tragedy. The track sold 170,000 copies in less than 48 hours and had the biggest first day sales of any single released this decade, according to the Official Charts Company. The song also features residents and survivors of the tower block disaster. Cowell lives in the same London borough as Grenfell Tower, and quickly called on his famous friends to unite and record a version of the famed former duo's classic. The tune was released on Wednesday (21Jun17), with fans rushing to congratulate Simon for his role in organising the track, from which all proceeds will go to The London Community Foundation. "Downloaded the beautifully done single Bridge over Troubled Water..gave me goosebumps well done to all involved @SimonCowell #GrenfellTower," one person wrote on Twitter. And another added: "Driving to work, and 'Bridge over troubled water' Charity single comes on the radio.wow. #bridgeovertroubledwater #GrenfellTower.
