She's one of the nation's favourite TV personalities, delighting the nation on a daily basis alongside her co-star Phillip Schofield.

But while her name may have been linked to rumours of an appearance on Strictly Come Dancing before, Holly Willoughby has put pay to any fan's hopes that she may compete in the TV show.

And it would seem the 36-year-old presenter has some very real fears which have made turning down the show easy - namely she's afraid she'd be "as bad as Ed Balls".

"Everyone would be watching me do it and that would be horrendous because I’m not very good at dancing."

And while she said she would rather emulate the success of series 11 winner Abbey Clancy, she'd fall into the category of the 'joke acts'.

"I’d probably be as bad as Ed Balls," she said. "I’d be more Ed Balls than Abbey Clancy, put it that way."

Thought Holly would be more than lucky to equal Ed's stretch on the show, as the former MP lasted 10 weeks into the show.

Abbey, however, was one of the shining lights of her series, and after becoming a firm fan-favourite she went on to win her series with the help of show pro Aljaz Skorjanec.
